View Full Version : 6mths and have queries

I have very thin hair on the top and a little down the back of my head, and have been using lasercomb for 6mths (im 23 years old). I have noticed A LOT of new hair on my scalp, but it is incredibly thin. Since i have a grade-1 haircut, im considering shaving my scalp to see if the hair comes back thicker (as it does when, say, someone shaves new facial hair for the first time). Do you think this might work or is it wishfull thinking???

I use an FDA cleared, SULFATE-CONTAINING shampoo called Nisim NewHair Biofactors Hairloss Shampoo. Could this be preventing better hair regrowth, even tho it has FDA clearance???

Hi Alex -

Thank you for your post.

We are pleased to learn of your success with the HairMax LaserComb. We think that shaving your head in hopes of regaining thicker hair is, as your say, wishful thinking. Rather, we suggest that you use a product that will thicken your hair. In this regard, you might want to check out this article from Good Houskeeping on hair thickening products:

We do not have enough information on the Nisim product you are using to render any judgement as to whether it is causing any hair growth problems.

We wish you continued success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.
