I wanted to know if rechargeable Ni-MH AA batterys work on hairmax advanced 7?
I know they operate at 1.2v rather than 1.5v
Would it void the warranty if it gets used? or cause a malfunction ?

Hi Darkhorse805 -

Thank you for your post.

The Advanced 7 is not designed to work with rechargeable batteries due to the lower voltage rating. We have not run tests on rechargeable batteries.

We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.

Hello!

Have you been using rechargeable batteries on your Hairmax Adv. 7? Do you know anyone that has, if so was she/he successful with the use of them?

Thanks for your help!

hi freedom4 life -

The HairMax Advanced 7 is NOT designed to run on rechargeable batteries. Standard batteries should last 4 to 6 months with normal use, so replacing them two or three times a year should not be too burdensome.

We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.

Rechargeable batteries seems to work with The HairMax Advanced 7. I know it officially does not support it but somehow it worked on mine. I own a hair salon Annandale, VA (http://www.onhairsalon.com) and I figured it out when I was with one of the customers trying out the rechargeable batteries in it.

Hi LocoBurns -

Thank you for your post.

We have had not done any testing of the HairMax Pro7 with rechargable batteries. Therefore, it would be up to you to judge performance issues with these types of batteries as we still recommend using disposable batteries.

We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.
