View Full Version : Hairmax Advance 7 battery life question

Greetings,

I noticed the Advanced 7 comes with batteries. Are these alkaline batteries or lithium batteries? If alkaline, about how many hours do four batteries last? It shouldn't be much of a worry because I plan on using my rechargeable batteries, along with purchasing the optional power cord. I was just curious about the battery life.

And also another question. The only real difference between the three products, aside from the Adv. 7 not having a built-in lithium ion battery is the laser coverage per sweep, thus affecting usage time, correct? I have very minimal hair loss and I don't feel purchasing the highest model is appropriate for me for I can easily tolerate a 15 minutes as opposed to eight or 11.

Hi Guest12817 -

Thank you for your post.

The batteries in the HairMax Advanced 7 are alkaline, but the device is not designed to use rechargeable batteries at this time. The batteries in the Advanced 7 should last for 3 to 4 months of normal use before they require changing.

You are correct in that the only difference between models is the amount of time necessary to treat affected areas. If you have minimum hair loss, than the Advanced 7 should adequate to treat your condition.

We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.

Hi,

I would just like to add that, rechargeable batteries would be very beneficial to HM, I would think. I have been using HM for quite sometime now and say for 3 to 4 months is an accurate measure of battery life, but it would be better if it had battery chargers of their own so worrying about batteries would cease.

just an opinion.

regards.
