Hi there,

I'm a 21 year old male, with fine hair and high hairline. Haven't experienced hair loss though, but will the haircomb do anything for me, like making my hair thicker?

park2peak -

Thank you for your post.

We base the safety record of the HairMax LaserComb on the fact that in 7 clinical studies with 460 subjects and from the over 11 years the product has been on the market and used by hundreds of thousands of people, there has NEVER been a report of any serious side effects occurring. In fact in the clinical studies the incidence of minor side effects was the same in both the active and the placebo device arms of the study. There have been a few reports of very minor itching and redness from a small minority of people which usually disappear from continued use of the device.

As with any drug or medical device there is NEVER a guarantee that NO side effects with ever occur, so experience from clinical trials and in-field use in the best predictor of the safety profile of a drug or device.

Hi Angelena 44 -

Thank you for your post.

The HairMax LaserComb has an excellent safety record as there have never been any reports of serious side effects occurring. Other lasers with different wave lengths, used for completely different purposes may have a different safety profile.

So, you can use the HairMax with confidence in its quality, efficacy and safety.

Hello, I don't know if my question has been answered already in other threads but I just want to know if it's safe to use when you're pregnant?

Hi Lesley London -

Thank you for your post.

For obvious reasons, there are no studies on the use of HairMax laser devices during pregnancy. Therefore, as will all drugs and devices, we recommend that you consult with a physician for advice or wait until after you have give birth.
