Hi Al D,
Thank you for that information. We have purchased a copy of men's Health and read the article. I do not know if it is written out of arrogance or ingnorance. We have drafted a letter to Dr Altchek. If you notice, Dr Altchek also indicates that minoxidil cannot penetrate enough to be effective. I question Dr Altchek's word against the tens of thousands of users who have benefitted from the LaserComb and minoxidil. I guess they are all wrong and Dr Altchek is correct. Yeah right. It is a shame that a great magazine like Men's Health would publish such unjustified claims from Dr Altchek. Did he use that fancy "T" square to measure the depth of Penetration?
Dr Altchek is dong a disservice to his peers, the public and his profession.
Regards
Randy

Dear Al D,
Thank you for your post and question. I don't know where you read this but it is not accurate. Lasers penetrate the skin dependant upon the wavelength. Through years of research, Lexington has identified the best wavelength of light for your hair and has designed the LaserComb from this research.
If you hold a laser against your finger, you can see the light shining through to the other side. Definetly penetrating more than 4mm
Regards
Randy

Question
I read an article in a magazine that said the follicle is 4mm below the scalp and that a laser cannot reach it. What is your response? Thanks.Tags: None
