  • Slight burning sensation

I have recently bought the hairmax laser comb (standard) and have just used it for the second time. The first time i used it as prescribed for 5 minutes and noticed a sligth burning sensation on my scalp that lasted for about a day. The second time i used it for 5 minutes and noticed the same burning sensation afterwards but less so than the first time. Is this normal? I am also using rogaine and propecia, and despite my username, i still have quite a bit of hair to begin with.

    Slight burning sensation

    Hello -

It is not unusual to experience slight burning when beginning therapy with HairMax and after a while, as you report, the feeling disappears.

Many of the minoxidil products on the market have a heavy alcohol base which can also cause stinging.
