Hello, I've been using the hairmax Lasercomb since a complete month and in the beginning of the treatment, my hair was shedding a half less and since one week , I'm loosing a lot of hair even more then before using the lasercomb. Why my shedding appears lately in comparison of the other people using it? Also, I would like to know how much time I should wait until the hairloss stop cause I'm getting terrify with it. I'm not seeing my self going in this situation for a month.

As we have pointed out before, the HairMax does not CAUSE hair loss. Rather, the device causes the fine, telogen, weak hairs to shed at once rather than a little each day as occurs in the normal hair cycle. This is a normal occurrence and indicates that the HairMax is beginning to exert its effect. This initial shedding should stop and new thicker pigmented hair should start to come in after a couple of months. However, everyone reacts differently, so be patient!

I am considering buying hairmax and have a similar concern about the shedding phase.

I am a 28yo male with no visible hair loss, despite my hair is starting to thin out at the hairline. I would like to use hairmax to slow down loss of hair and possibly reach at least middle age without any visible scalp!

The part I am concerned about is the shedding phase: would the use of hairmax result in shedding which is evident to other people? What is the general experience about this?

The initial shedding with the HairMax varies with every individual. Some users experience initial shedding and others hardly notice it. However, the shedding is temporary and we encourage people who want to use the HairMax to think of the long term benefits of treatment. In other words, while you may experience some early shedding, the long term benefits of hair regrowth or prevention of further hair loss should out weigh this initial occurrence. You are the ideal age and stage of hair thinning to begin treatment, but the longer you wait before starting to do something about it will only make it that much more difficult to get relief as the condition worsens.

We recommend that you try the HairMax and see if shedding occurs and if it does and you are uncomfortable, then you can stop using the device and you will no longer experience shedding.
