  • Extended Usage Time

    Hello Sir

After having bought the hairmax laser comb (LC), I am regularly using it for the past 14 weeks. I have lost a lot of hair in these 14 weeks mostly in the frontal area. Since I am only 23 years old and am experiencing hair loss since past 2 years, I havent lost hopes and I plan continuing with LC for the recommended usage period of 20 weeks.
I am sometimes unable to use LC on alternate day. So on da third day I use it sometimes for a duration of 40-45 minutes against the stipulated time of 15 minutes (For 9 beam LC). Will this cause any negative effect? Will it cause my new hair to grow faster and thus eventually result in faster shedding in the future?
Even on da thinning areas I use it for over 2-3 minutes against stipulated time of say 4-10 seconds?? Is this harmful as I am supplying with more than required laser energy??

    Regards

    Hairmax Lasercomb Usage

    Hi Mumbaiguy25 -

    Thank you for your post.

While it is recommended that the HairMax be used every day for 10-15 minutes, it is fine if you use the device 3 times within a week and not every other day. If you use the HairMax 3 times a week for 10-15 minutes, increasing exposure time will not produce any additional benefits nor will it produce any additional side effects or shedding; it is just unnecessary.

Please bear in mind that the HairMax does not cause hair loss per se, the device simply causes more hair to shed at the same time, so that you notice more hair loss. It is possible that you are experiencing progressive frontal hair loss, but the HairMax should help to not only regrow the hair, but prevent excess hair loss from occurring.

We wish you continued success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.
