Thank you for your post. The recommended minutes of application are an estimate. If it takes less time or you want to use the HairMax for more time that is OK. However, the key to proper usage is just to apply the HairMax to your scalp 3 times a week for as long as you feel it takes to apply adequate laser energy. You can not apply to much at each session so just use the minutes of recommended application as a guideline.

Thanks for the reply, but I want to ask a very specific question. Total recommended time for my comb is 8 minutes. By the time I am finished doing my entire head it is only 6 minutes into the treatment. My question,is it okay or safe to repeat the treatment for the remaining two minutes from the start point?

It is only necessary to apply the HairMax as directed, but it doesn't really matter how you apply it as long as you cover your scalp, 3 times a week.

I have just started using laser comb. My concerned area is only top of my head. Do I still need to use the comb on sides and back as well? Also, is it okay and safe to do one area twice or thrice in one treatment?
