  • Is it working....?

I have just ended the 5th week of using the comb. I've noticed the "weak" hairs falling out especially at the front of my hair line. Little bald spots have appeared and the hairline itself has gotten weak. My question is this....

Does this mean the comb is working fully? That is, does this mean/prove that stronger hairs and more hairs will follow in the coming weeks? Or does this prove nothing and just shows that the comb does a good job at getting rid of the weak hairs and there is not evidence that any new hairs will grow in?

Also, I havent noticed any difference at the crown of my head, either weak hairs falling out or more hairs coming in.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had similar results like mine, with the weak hairs falling out in the first few weeks and then seeing new hairs coming in. Or has anyone just seen the progress stop after the weak hairs fall out?

    Thanks for any input.

    Is It Working

Hi - Results from using the HairMax LaserComb such as increased thickness and volume may not become apparent before 8 weeks or more, so it is important to keep using the device as directed. It takes time for the thin, weak hairs to fall out and be replaced with a new 'terminal' hair. As to the crown of your head, you will not see any hair fallout or hair regrowth if the hair follicles no longer exist. The HairMax promotes the regrowth of hair, but does not cause hair to grow where no hair bulbs are left.

I still have hair on the crown of my head.

I just meant I'm not seeing the same process occuring there as with the front of my hairline; that is, I haven't noticed any of the weaker hairs falling out from the crown of my head.

The HairMax will work where hair is falling out or thinning. If you are experiencing no hair loss on the crown then, of course, the HairMax will have no effect.

          Hi Guys,

I noticed thinning a few years ago at age 37. I dont pretend to know what caused it as it could be genetics or sped up by the massive amounts of stress caused by my career and dead lines of returning to school for my Masters.

At anyrate, this worried me, and I dug out photos from a few years back and could see where my hair was receeding. So I saw a skin doc and he gave my Propicia, which worked great for about 2 years.

Over the past few months, I really noticed thinning increasing where I could see my scalp. I read just about every article and viewed every news show that was on YouTube about the Hairmax Comb.

I ordered it, because the FDA approved it and It was worth a shot since the light energy seemed to make sense as well as the claims on the tests that NBC and other news shows conducted in a third party study as they had nothing to gain from good or bad results.

MY RESULTS: I have been using the comb as instructed and I have to say, that I am simply blown away at what is happening. My hair seems thicker and the thinning patches are getting more dense. I also read that during sleep, our bodies repair, so, I take a normal multi vitimin at night before I go to bed. I have NO clue if this is helping or not. But I am sure the Propeica and the comb are working.

Also, guys, one last point. I know that we as men, are not good at reading directions or being patient. Be sure to read the book and watch the DVD for the proper directions and take your time with the comb. I placed a chair in the bathroom and I actually turn the lights off, so I can see the laser better and I move it SLOWLY. And, I also noticed that my diet sucked. While I eat very well, I was cutting out red meat, protien, and only eating what my friends call "bird food" since I was trying to get ripped body. I also kicked up my protein, carbs, fish, and almonds/walnuts, and tons of water.

Again, who knows what the issue is here - can be genetics, can be stress that kicked on the gene switch few years early, can be bad diet, or not enough essential building blocks in the diet.

All I know is something is working..and I really think its the comb. I have posted in other sites as well, because I want people to know that this does work, for me anyway.
