    Default Scalp coverage

    Hi,

I'm unclear from the instructions with the lasercomb whether the recomendation is to use it over the entire head or just the affected areas which for me would be the top of the scalp. Obviously if you have thinning hair all over (like a typical female might have) then the entire head would be logical. But lets just say for a man (like me), who has only recession and thinning on top - should I still cover the entire head during treatment i.e. top, rear and sides, or just the top of the head. It seems a bit silly to apply to the back and sides when I know that hair will probably never thin.

If it should be applied to the entire head - whats the rationale for this approach?

    Thanks,
    Ben.

    Default Hairmax Lasercomb Use

    Hi ben -

    Thank you for your post.

The HairMax LaserComb not only regrows hair in hereditary hair loss, but also contributes to overall hair health, i.e thicker, more luster, and manageability. You also do not really know if you will lose your hair in the future in the uneffected areas as pattern baldness is a progressive disorder. Using the HairMax in areas not effected could also prevent further loss in the future.

Based on this information, it is up to the individual user if he/she only wants to treat effected areas or wishes to use the HairMax all over their scalp.

We wish you continued success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.

    Default Hairmax Lasercomb Use

    Hi jane -

    Thank you for your post.

We suggest that you continue to use the HairMax for at least 6 months before you judge results. People respond to treatment at different times so it is important to continue to use the HairMax for at least this length of time.

We have not heard of 'hair cubing', but you might want to check out the new HairMax Hair Fibers, www.hairmaxfibers.com which will help you conceal hair loss while you are treating yourself with the HairMax LaserComb.

We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaseComb.
