    Default Usage time

I'm 33 and I have strong family history of androgenic alopecia, I think I will get it down the tracj sometime, meanwhile I guess I'm going through telogen effluvium phase, affecting mainly the front area, which had always been thinner in hair, I have bought hairmax 12 beam and I have just started to use it, it is recommended to use it for 8 minutes every second day, and that should cover the whole head, but my hair is really thick and well grown everywhere except for the front where is thins and sheds, so I want mainly to use it for the front of the scalp, so what would be the time set for this please? I don't think it will be 8 minutes for only the front?

    Default Hairmax Lasercomb Usage Time

    Hi Luke77 -

    Thank you for your post.

The usage time for the 12 beam HairMax Pro model is about 8 minutes no matter where your hair loss presents itself on your scalp. We would suggest, however, that you use the HairMax over your entire scalp and not just the affected areas to maintain overall hair health.

As to your question regarding other lasers on the market at lower prices we offer the following:

As wth all products, like cell phones and other devices, there is a very big difference in quality, performance, and efficacy. These cosmetic laser combs you see advertised are generally produced by "fly by night" outfits that produce these combs without any standards or procedures. None of these home use devices has been subject to FDA review unlike the HairMax which has, and they do not have any proof that they regrow hair in certain classes of hereditary hair loss in men which the HairMax does. Further, many of these other devices have significant quality control issues, faulty designs, high failure rates and generally poor customer service, not to mention questionable personal ethics. Many of these outfits do not even have a mailing address, but use an address drop location instead. It is easy to advertise on the internet, but very difficult to produce a quality product that adheres to the strict quality standards that are required in the manufacturing of the HairMax LaserComb.

We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.
