    Default skin type

I noticed the following on your site:

"CAUTION: The safety or effectiveness of the HairMax LaserComb in men with Fitzpatrick Skin Types V and VI (see the description on these skin types on page 3 of the user manual) has not been evaluated."

I am asian and somewhere between moderately tanned to tanned. When evaluating myself, I am between a 4 and a 5. Let's say that I am a 5 on the Fitzpatrick scale. Will my safety and effectiveness be compromised? Am I still suitable to use it?

Default Hairmax Lasercomb And Skin Types

    Hi tenchimuyo23 -

    Thank you for your post.

The 'Caution' that you refer to only indicates that the HairMax LaserComb has not been studied in men with much darker skin types. This has nothing to do with safety or effectiveness - it simply means that subjects with these skin types were not part of the clinical studies.

There has never been any reports of serious side effects occurring from use of the HairMax, so there is no reason for you not to treat yourself with the HairMax if you decide to try the device for whatever skin tone you believe that you have.

We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.

    LAS
