    Default Hopeful

I just wanted to join this site to read other experiences with the lasercomb. I fully understand that the treatment will vary from person to person and I am also aware that there is no treatment in the entire world for anything that works on each and every person straight across the board. I have done an enormous amount of research on this device as well as other methods of hair loss treatments.

I am young, 26, and suffer from very mild thinning. I have no bald patches but I have thinned within the last few years. I have chosen to tackle this problem young and aggressively so that I hopefully have the best chance for results.

I am taking a natural approach. I am heavily involved in fitness and have a very clean and balanced diet. Also, I do not drink alcohol or smoke. I am currently taking natural DHT blockers such as saw palmetto, betasitosterol as well as a variety of herbs that I came across while researching chinese medicine. I am a firm believer that this can be beat naturally without the use of medication.

I plan on following my lasercomb treatment by the book. I will be extremely patient as I know it is unrealistic to expect my hair to recover in a matter of weeks or even months. I think when it comes to that topic common sense should prevail.

Of all the hair loss remedies and the countless articles, youtube videos, testimonials I have found that there is far more good about the hairmax than bad. It is obvious that there will always be skeptics and people with negative things to say about it because everyones experience and biology as well as hair loss issue is different.

My best advice to anyone is use common sense. Spend the time and do the research, educated yourself on treatments available.

I also need to point out that I have read many posts (not only from this site) of people who believe this is a scam as well as a corroborated set-up to deceive the public. From a logistical standpoint it would be next to impossible for lexington to grease the pockets of the countless doctors, media outlets, forum posters etc who have had good results.

Anyways today is day 1 and I am looking forward to the next 6 months. I will point out that my "natural" approach to blocking dht seems to work. I have recently added ginko biloba and grape seed extract to promote blood flow as well as promote hair growth.

    Good luck to you all.

    Default Hairmax Lasercomb Efficacy

    Hi naturalapproach101 -

Thank you for that terrific post.

It appears that you have spent a lot of time researching treatment with the HairMax. We think that your comment, "I am also aware that there is no treatment in the entire world for anything that works on each and every person..." best sums up the fruits of your research. That is the reason why there is sometimes negativity on the web about the HairMax because people do not realize that everyone reacts differently to the device, and yes, the HairMax might not work on a small minority of people just like any other hair loss treatment on the market.

We certainly wish all the best success in your fight against your hair loss. The fact that you are starting at the first signs of hair loss will give you the best chance of success.

Let us know how it goes.

    Default 2 weeks

I thought I would give everyone an update because I am approaching my second week of use.

I first want to point out that my hairloss is fairly mild. I still have my full hairline, I have just experienced thinning over the past 4 years.

I have noticed two things so far. I dont know if its a placebo effect, or my imagination but there has been a change.

    a) my scalp is not very itchy anymore. I used to have a very itchy scalp and that has greatly subsided since using the laser comb.

    b) my hair shedding has literally stopped. I have tracked my hairloss over the years with great detail. I even use a reference point on my face. I wear hats alot and after a day I would notice usually 20-30 hairs per day in my cap. Also, when i wake up in the morning I would usually see 10-15 hairs on my pillow.

Now when I wake up I average 1-3 hairs and same goes for my hat. I expected a major initial shed with the laser comb but maybe my scalp reacts differently. Its obvious that it is far to soon to notice any regrowth, but I thought my current observation was worth stating.

Best of luck to you all.

    Default Hairmax Lasercomb Effects

    Hi naturalapproach101

Thank you for the post describing your first 2 weeks of experience in using the HairMax.

What you are noticing are the beginning beneficial effects of the HairMax and they are not "placebo" effects. As you proceed with your treatment you will continue to see better effects and eventually more hair growth. You might begin to experience some increased hair shedding in the next few weeks, but that will disappear in time.

Thanks for the update and we look forward to continuing to receive updates on your progress.

We wish you continued success from your use of the HairMax LaserComb.

    Default shed

I have now noticed somewhat of an alarming shed. This is normal correct? It is alarming because it had appeared as though my hairloss stopped completely for almost 2 weeks and now the shed.

    Default Hairmax Lasercomb And Shedding

    Hi naturalapproach101-

    Thank you for your post.

As we have mentioned many time, hair shedding at the beginning of treatment with the HairMax is a normal occurrence and an indication that the HairMax is beginning to work. This shedding should cease shortly and new thicker terminal hairs should begin to grow in its place.

We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.
