Default experiencing an increase in shedding

    Hi,

Over the past 3 weeks I would say, I've been experiencing a really high increase in shedding. I've been using HairMax since June 1st - I know there's suppose to be an 'initial shedding' phase, but I've been using hair max for 4 months now, should I be experiencing this much shedding?

Before using hairmax, I was experiencing shedding, but not this much. After using it for almost 3 months, shedding had completely stopped; I was so excited about it, until 3 weeks ago.. Is this normal in my stage?

I would also like to add that I've never experienced an increase in shedding when I first started using HairMax.

    Default Shedding from hair loss

    Hi losecontrolv2 -

    Thank you for your post.

The incidence of shedding when starting treatment with the HairMax is different in each individual. Some experience very early, while some experience it later. (Check out the experiences in this regard on the Forum). The normal hair growing cycle of growth, natural shedding, rest, regrowth continues even with treatment with the HairMax so you could be seeing shedding again when you are in a new cycle. Or, you may be experiencing the further effects of androgenetic alopecia whereby some of your follicles may continue to miniaturize the hair and the HairMax is then stimulating the shedding.

What is important to realize is that the HairMax does not cause hair loss. The device only stimulates the shedding of the fine telegon hairs and cause thicker anagen hairs to grow.

Our best advice is to continue using the HairMax for at least 20 weeks or even 6 months to 'even out' the shedding/response activity and see the final results.

We wish you continue success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.
