Hairmax along with Minoxidil 5%
Hi,
I am already using minoxidil 5% for the last 1.5 years and had seem good reuslts. Want to know if i can use Hairmax along with minoxidil ?
Using Hairmax along with minoxidil, will it be beneficiary ? Coz what i understand is the way Hairmax laser works (i.e. its course of action) is something similar to Minoxidil (i.e. either shortening telogen or prolonging anage)

Hairmax and minoxidil
Hi akhil.agarwal -
Thank you for your post.
The HairMax LaserComb and minoxidil have different mechanisms of action and act on different receptors in the hair follicle. Therefore you can use both together for an enhanced effect.
We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.

I would like to add to this.
Let's say someone has been using Minoxidil for a few years and regrown some hair. Then they purchase a Hairmax to add to their regime and eventually ween off Minoxidil to save on money. As mentioned before, they work off different receptors, thus would Hairmax take over the regrown hairs solely regrown years back from Minoxidil alone? I assume you would not lose those hairs because at this point, they are regrown and being taken care of by Hairmax. Correct?

Hairmax after minoxidil
Hi Guest12817 -
Thank you for your post.
You are correct. The mech of action are similar between the two modalities. Increase blood flow and regulate oxidative stress so you could use the HairMax in place of minoxidil and experience the same results from the HairMax that you had with minoxidil. You may find however, that the use of the HairMax along with minoxidil is providing a synergistic effect, so if you start to experience hair loss again after discontinuing minoxidil then you might with to return to use of both agents together.
We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.

Hairmax Lasercomb+ Minoxidil + Hairmax hair care bundle
Hi,
I have been using hairmax laser comb for almost 6 weeks, and still waiting for a good result. In order to boost the hair regrowth process i bought hairmax hair care bundle and minoxidil 5%. Before using them together I have few questions.
In the haircare bundle there is a bottle of hair and scalp fortifier, do i have to use it on the daily basis? do i have to wash my hair before using that, since it is recommended to be used while all the hairs are wet or towel dried. and when can i use Minoxidil? is there any problem with that used with the scalp fortifier?
Thanks

Hairmax and minoxidil usage
Hi Roy -
Thank you for your post.
The Fortifier should be used once a day on either wet or moist hair. We recommend that you use both the Fortifier and the minoxidil before using the HairMax. They can be used together without a problem.
We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb, however, please be patient and give it the full course of treatment to judge results.

Minoxdil+ Hairmax Hair Care Bundle + Lasercomb
Hi LAS
It is going be almost 14 weeks since I am using Lasercomb and hair care bundle. but within last couple of weeks I started using minoxidil along with them.
Now not only I don't notice new hairs but also i am losing more hairs. I dont know what to do? should i stop using minoxidle or scalp fortifier?
I think lasercomb might not be working for my hair loss. I dont know what to do? should i stay with the lasercomb or no?
Thanks

Hairmax and shedding
Hi Roy -
Thank you for your post.
To begin with, the HairMax does NOT cause hair loss, it only causes the fine telegon to shed. You hairs on your head are in different phases of the hair cycle. Both the HairMax and minoxidil cause shedding when you begin treatment. When you started minoxidil, you probably began to experience hair shedding from that drug in addition to normal shedding that may be coming from where you are in the stage of hair growth.
We suggest that you continue with what you are using and the hair shedding from both should cease and normal hair should grow. By using the 2 drugs you are probably seeing less hair loss than you would before you started treatment.
We wish you success in your treatment.
