Default Hairs Sticking Up All Over My Head

I have been using the Hairmax laser comb for about 2.5 months. I now have a TON of short hairs sticking up all over my head. They are everywhere and it makes it look like my hair is messy, like I forgot to comb it (I have super straight hair, chin length). I use hair spray, but it just won't hold them all down. Prior to this I did have (and still do) a number of hairs that just flipped out (a few inches long, of varying lengths) and some hairs standing up. However, this is different. I now have short hairs sticking up everywhere (.5 - 1 inch long). Please tell me this is new hair growth and not miniaturized hair. How can you even tell the difference? I'm not sure what to think and it's driving me crazy.

    Default Using It Every Day

Also, I use my laser comb every day. I had it for at least a year before I started using it on a regular basis. I just couldn't seem to get into the habit of using it. Therefore, I use it for the recommended time 3 - 4 times a week and on the other days, I just spend a couple of minutes (5 maybe) running it over the top of my hair. Is this okay?

    Default Hairmax efficacy

    Hi wsg2012 -

    Thank you for the posts.

What you are seeing is the best news possible!! The short hairs you now have growing out all over the place are new hairs. Hair grows .5 inches a months, so your growth at 2.5 months is just about right on, i.e. .5 - 1 inch long. They are not miniaturized hair because 1) miniaturized hairs are very fine, wispy, and short, and 2) the HairMax does not stimulate the growth of miniaturized hairs only thicker terminal hair.

We recommend that you continue to use the HairMax, but only 3 times a week as any further treatment is not necessary.

So, in conclusion, keep using the HairMax and eventually you will have long hair back that does not stick up like you had before once it grows in.

We wish you continued success in your continued use of the HairMax LaserComb.
