    Default Shedding Question

    Hey HairMax,

First just want to say that I love the product and am so happy that I have it! I have been using the HairMax for about 8 weeks now. I noticed shedding starting around week 4 and then it stopped almost completely after a couple of weeks and I noticed A LOT less hair falling out after I shower and brush my hair, etc...although now I am noticing shedding starting up again. I just want to know if that is a good sign? Can shedding periods come and go in the beginning 20 weeks?

    Thanks so much.

    Default Hairmax and shedding

    Hi michael3377 -

    Thank you for your post.

We are pleased to hear about your response to the HairMax LaserComb.

It is important to realize that even when you are using the HairMax, your hair goes through the normal cycle of growth, resting, shedding, and regrowth. Therefore, the answer to your question is, 'yes' you can shed throughout the 20 week cycle of use. I also do not know what you are experiencing as far as later shedding, i.e. is it a lot or less than what you shed in the beginning of use of the HairMax.

You may want to read this blog post which describes hair shedding more fully:

Our suggestion is to continue to use the HairMax for the full 20 weeks to judge total results as they vary from individual to individual.

We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.
