Default The spectrum of laser diodes and the milliwatts

I would like to know what I am putting into my body before doing anything.

Can you provide me with clear website information or reliable documentation as to the:

    - Spectrum of laser diodes (not just red but the exact figure to determine its safety of the eyes ie. 660 nm 670 nm)
    - What class is the laser in? (Class 3R or Class 3B) I read somewhere that it was Class 3A but I don't see any information on this specific class.
    - How many milliwatts of energy does it emit?

    Default Hairmax lasercomb specifications

    Hi uchenna101

    Thank you for your post.

The HairMax LaserComb is a Class 3R medical device, which means that "eye contact should be avoided".

The lasers energy of the HairMax LaserComb is 655 nm and the diodes in the device are 5mW each.

Rather than focusing on the energy of the HairMax, we suggest that for a complete discussion of the efficacy of the HairMax, that you access the peer review article that described the 4 recent double-blind clinical studies conducted with the HairMax:

Access: The American Journal of Clinical Dermatology and the article, Efficacy and Safety of a Low-level Laser Device in the Treatment of Male and Female Pattern Hair Loss: A Multicenter, Randomized, Sham Device-controlled, Double-blind Study

Thank you for your interest in the HairMax LaserComb.
