Hi so I finally bought the professional 12 and used it for the first time today!

Now I have a few questions/comments about using the hairmax:

    1. Is there any way to only turn on the vibrate function? I have a roommate and the beep is really loud and I don't want to annoy him.

    2. Regarding moving the hairmax 1/2inch every few seconds or so, I think I was moving it significantly less than that as I only got to go from front to back once and over the side of my head once. (all areas were covered though) Will this affect the hairmax's treatment if I don't move it far enough?

    3. I now feel a bit of a pounding/dull tingling on the front and top of my scalp. Is that a common thing hairmax users feel? I might just be hungry because I haven't eaten yet.

    4. I found that it was hard to keep all the teeth in contact with my scalp at all times due to the shape of my head, is this a problem?

Any suggestions and advice from forum moderators or other forum members regarding these comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Default Hairmax lasercomb proper usage

    Hi Iamlink -

Congratulations on your purchase of the HairMax LaserComb.

I will provide answers to your questions below:

    1. To turn off the beep, press the Laser Button a second time after the lasers are turned on.

    2. It is fine if you only pass the HairMax over your head one time, as long as you scalp is exposed to the laser energy. Moving it a second time simply assures fuller coverage.

    3. When you start to use the HairMax, it increases blood flow to the scalp and this may cause a mild tingling which should disappear shortly.

    4. If the HairMax is parting your hair as you use it, it is no problem if the teeth do not make contact with every single part of your head as the energy will penetrate to the scalp anyway.

We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.

    Default Second Day of Use

    Hi thanks for the response,

It doesn't seem as if there is a way to have only the vibrate function on. Correct me if I'm wrong. I was testing this in the middle of treatment and accidentally shut off the laser which resets the timer. I estimated it using my watch and may have gone a little above/under 8 minutes. Is one messed up day of treatment very detrimental to the lasers effectiveness? Silly question but I appreciate your answer!

Thanks again and looking forward to shedding/results in a month or so!

    Hi Iamlink -

    Thanks for the post.

When you first turn on the HairMax lasers, press it right away again, not in the middle of treatment and that should shut off the beep.

Don't worry about the confusion and incomplete treatment the first time. Simply continue as directed. If it still beeps during treatment do not press it again at that time as it will shut off the lasers - only press it a second time before treatment.

We wish your success in your treatment with the HairMax LaserComb
