Default Shedding

I am using the hairmax laser comb for about a month now and I am experiencing shedding. I know that this means that hairmax is working. But I wanted to know how long does the shedding period usually last?

Default Hairmax Lasercomb And Shedding

Hi rabindranath -

Thank you for your post.

The shedding you are experiencing early on in treatment with the HairMax should subside within about 2 months. However, bear in mind that the hair on your head will always b going through the normal cycle of shedding, rest and regrowth so you will always experience some shedding as part of this cycle.

Our best advice is to continue to use the HairMax for at least 20 weeks to judge final results.

We wish you success in your use of the HairMax LaserComb.

Question Shedding and Beeping

Hello Friends and Doctors,
I have been using my laser comb for about 3 weeks now as directed. At first my hair appeared noticeably thicker , and then this week I began shedding . Is this normal? Is it a good or bad sign? Will I regrow the hair that I have shed? How long does a cycle usually take?
In addition, when I turn of my unit it emits a loud *BEEEEEP* and I was wondering if that was normal and if not, what should I do?

Is there a UK phone number?

And just a wee update for anyone who is interested, I have been using the comb for two and a half weeks now. Thus far I do not seem to be experiencing any additional shedding, but my hair does appear thicker and is definately more managable. I am still experiencing itchy scalp though, hoping that will stop. So some positive signs and some neagtive ones, but I realise it is early days.
